COMPANY PROFILE

SouthWest Energy (H.K.) Ltd has been awarded a license for 3 blocks in the Ogaden region of Ethiopia following the signing of a production sharing agreement with the Ethiopian Ministry of Mines & Energy.

The blocks; 9, 9A and 13 cover a total area of approximately 29,000km. The deal has historic significance as SouthWest Energy is the first energy enterprise, founded by an Ethiopian national, to be granted a license to search for oil.
